	We handle contested and uncontested divorce cases. We also advise clients seeking to pursue divorce through less confrontational means, including alternative dispute resolutions such as mediation.
	Collaborative Divorce
	John is a Collaborative Law Attorney and has completed all of the necessary training to become certified.  He is a certified member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP) and a certified member of the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania (CLASP). According to the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals: "Collaborative Practice, including Collaborative Law and interdisciplinary Collaborative Divorce, is a new way for you to resolve disputes respectfully -- without going to court -- while working with trained professionals who are important to all areas of your life."
	Support Issues
	We handle support modifications, complaints, unreimbursed medical expenses, and other issues that are related to support.  We educate our clients on support guidelines relevant to their case.
	Children & Youth Service issues
	This office has a long history of dealing with CYS and CYF. We work with social workers in order to meet our goal of keeping the child with his family and reaching a solution that suits the best interest of the child.
	Equitable Distribution (property division) In the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, both parties in a divorce must either through their own agreement or by the use of the courts, divide their property. This office has always taken he positions that its clients should endeavor to resolve their division of property without the use of the courts. However, in some cases, where the opposing spouse is unwilling to work amicably to resolve the distribution of property, this office is ready, willing and able to pursue all of their client’s rights.
	Custody There is no doubt that the most emotional aspect of any marriage is the custody of children. The most important element of this process is that the courts will always endeavor to pursue what is in the best interest of the children. This office has for years, has advocated that position and has been extremely successful in custody matters.
